i would love to post sections of my book online, but have held off due to various concerns - especially due to being unpublished.
i know it would be easy enough to get a Creative Commons license to protect my work, but right of publication is another matter. i've heard from some sources that posting on the web could be considered "publishing."
Is anyone aware if there has been any clarity on this matter?
