I think that's the perfect way to start, though. I've also thought about doing a Dickens: write a serial-style chapter a week (or month, or whatever) and hope it someday forms into a completed book!
Awesome, thanks for the advice Sean :)Loves Pickleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09265109812385130053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32085591.post-16009078882289092692009-02-04T06:59:00.000-06:002009-02-04T06:59:00.000-06:00You know, Pickles, I think I'd start by writing a ...You know, Pickles, I think I'd start by writing a short story in first person. That would allow your journaling skills to come into play while you're telling the story. I find character development can be a little more fun, too, if I'm inside the person's head. I thoroughly love writing, but dialog and the process of character development is a little intimidating to me. I think it'd be a cool challenge to push myself further with writing, and am absolutely fine if it never goes anywhere.

What say you :)Loves Pickleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09265109812385130053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32085591.post-73441567602708339632009-02-02T14:09:00.000-06:002009-02-02T14:09:00.000-06:00I have to critique MDT's first novel (hi there, MD...I have to critique MDT's first novel (hi there, MDT!), then rewrite "Silvertongue".
