I got an eerie feeling when I saw this post, Lyda—for about a week now, I've been mulling over the idea of teaming up with Ben Zvan (photographer extraordinaire) to do a "Wyrdsmiths' Workspaces" photo project for the blog.

(Cue the theremin music . . . )

I'm all for it, Bill, even if it might seem derivative to some after the Mr. Cassidy's project. We could link to it from the blog and let people put faces to the names and posts. (Except for you, Bill -- your user pic already captures you in all you glorious greenness! :p )

I don't think I'd worry about being derivative. There are countless artists-in-their-lairs projects both in print and around the Web. It's a thing people do, probably when they should be doing something else. I know this because it's just the kind of project I dream up when, say, I have a really back-breaking deadline, or three of them, all at once, as usual . . .

It ain't easy being green, I tell ya.
