Monday Morning WIP Open Thread

So, what are you all up to? I'm going through the copyedits for MythOS--all electronic now, yay!. I'm also trying to shake off the beginnings of the cold Laura brought home for me. A little bit later I'll be making some new trim to replace the stuff that no longer fits around the new back door.

I'm revising the last 1 1/2 chapters of my novel. My goal is to have it out to beta readers by the end of next week. Now all I need is some beta readers. ;)

I kid. I have two wonderful readers who hang out here. :)

The Doctor Who novel guidebook for Mad Norwegian Press lumbers forward.

I'm also prepping for my first writing workshop in 11 years. I'm a little nervous. I just finished reading somebody else's MS.

I have 2 essays due on friday, the first is at draft 2.5 stage, and needs someone not me to edit it so that i can make it polished and make sense properly and make my argument properly. It's on the impact of CEDAW on the perception of motherhood in contemporary Australia. The second one is a revised introduction, and beginning of the first point, and is about how the law cannot treat all people equally if the desired result is equality, using UN treaties as my examples of implication and use of legal process.

Mason is home sick from school today, so I'll be lucky to get ANYTHING done. :(

I'm typing edits. I'd rather gouge out my own eyes...

I'm reading short fiction written by my creative writing students. It isn't a class on writing fantasy, but I have several fun fantasy stories in the bunch!
