Oh, almost forgot to post this. With the holidays grinding to a close, I'm finally getting a chance to get back to SpellCrash. Now I just need to figure out how Chapters 4-8 go and I'm set. Too bad I don't have a clue. What about y'all?
I don't have a clue about how Chps. 4-8 should go for you, either, Kelly, but I'm willing to dose up on caffeine until I can fake it. :)
Me, I'm busy wrangling kids and making chili. I'd hoped to write in the evenings over their break, but, c'mon, who are we kidding? Maybe after New Year's.
I'm doing the New Years thing, looking backward and forward at the same time. I'm looking back at what I accomplished by largely taking a break from fiction but not from writing. I'm fairly impressed with myself. I've written at least three pieces that continue to get presented to new audiences.
Still, I don't want to give up fiction, so I'm looking ahead, prepping for the launch of a group nonfiction project while trying to figure out how to keep it from taking over my writing life. I have some ideas. We'll see how it goes.
